it offers much more information; and while matching the virtues of the Oxford edition, it is free from its more irritating features. (...) Her text is thoroughly prudent, without the gymnosophist tendencies of L.-P.: where a reading or supplement is probable she is prepared to print it in the text. (...) Above the text of each fragment the metre is described, and below it there is a tripartite apparatus: 'TEST', the sources (with contexts for quotation fragments); "SIM', literary parallels; 'CRIT', comprising bibliography, details of lectional signs in papyri (...), variants, conjectures, etc. (...)
