J. Bastiaans Some Problems of the Transference in the Treatment of Psychosomatic Patients
The author referred to the paper by Bastiaans and Groen (1), read at the International Congress for Psychotherapy at Leyden in 1951 about the affective contact with psychosomatic patients. He has since made further studies on the transference. The main results are the following.

R. Le Coultre Some Special Aspects of the Transference-Phenomenon
Transference is the basal phenomenon of the analysis. By becoming a transference-neurosis, the neurosis may be psychoanalytically influenced. Transference-neurosis is an acting out of emotions and attitudes of the past which in this way becomes the present.

E. C. M. Frijling-Schreuder (Amsterdam) Some Remarks on Transference and Counter-Transference in Analytical Child Therapy
In his paper on transference Le Coultre has mentioned the complicated structure of the transference phenomena which partly originate in the complicated relations of the child towards his parents during the first years of life.
