This is the second book published by Artimo on the work of artist Carla Klein (1970, NL), featuring paintings that she made since 2000. Klein uses photographs as the source material and basis of her work. A number of the paintings she has produced in the last months are based on snapshots made from the passenger's seat, while driving across the United States. The photos, that she prints herself and adapts while processing to produce the desired image, are also included in the book in glossy fold out pages. The book was published in conjunction with Klein's solo exhibition at the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive.
