I also hope to encourage others for similar projects, mainly people from war zones. - The idea for the book came when my mother started to suffer from dementia. About seven years ago, she began to write names of people on the front of photos. Then I scanned all family photos. While scanning, I went to the past with my thoughts. I noticed that many people from the family photo album did not live any more -.I wanted to photograph the people who did still live.
