This trade catalogue and marketing piece has nice production values - color plates of various marbles in a large enough format that they could be used in design work. "MARBLE, in short, represents the difference between the commonplace and distinctive good taste. The one hundred most popular types of marble found in this volume offer an unmatched selection of color and texture." It also classifies all Marbles (they defined four groups, and also size restrictions for both Domestic and Foreign material). It was prepared by the Sydney S. Baron Public Relations Corp (founded 1956 and dissolved in 1981). L.H. Philo Corporation lithographed the volume.
Although it notes Volume I, we have seen no evidence that additional volumes were produced.
