Each is described in simple language and illustrated, for the most part, with good colour plates. The book should prove a useful tool for field workers in all disciplines connected with cassava production throughout the tropical world, and, in addition, has the added advantage of being a field book which will actually fit into one's pocket.ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT:This manual is concerned with the pests, diseases and other problems affecting the cultivation of cassava, especially in the Americas, and contains a section (pp. 51-79) dealing with insects and mites that attack the crop.
